Photos of the Week
Click on the image to view more images from Alpenrose Cyclocross at Night“I can’t see anything,” a voice called out - a little desparately - from the darkness of the Alpenrose Cyclocross At Night elite race.
With good reason, the final race of the night was called for darkness. But promises of better lights for next week’s race were made.
Until darkness enveloped riders, a good time was had by all. Well, except until the Team Beer rider who separated a shoulder. Best time of all was surely had by John Howe on his spanking new Speedvagen. Which he proudly showed off again and again.
Tonight felt like another warmup, a tease for the big time that’s soon to launch like a mud splattered rocket. Maybe Battle at Barlow will blast us into the stratosphere or maybe we’ll have to wait until Cross Crusade’s season opener Oct. 4 to hit the super numbers of riders. There’s but one way to find out. Go. Ride. Watch. Spit dirt.
And Oregon Manifest is a little more than a week away. Wahoo!

I have just entered the Webpage for the first time in months. Good to see new photos. I love your work and passion in it, so this Webpage will be again one of my favourites this season.
