Barton Park had a lot of rocks but mostly it was muddy. Click on the image above to see more photos.
Pretty much everything was falling Sunday at Barton Park, the final venue for the Cross Crusade series of cyclocross races for 2010.
It rained, all day. Not a downpour ever. Just enough to keep things immediately wet.
Bikes were going down with impunity. The red first aid tent stayed busy all day.
What a day to be a kid. A conservative estimate of the number of mud puddles was 40,000. And everyone got used for splashing, stomping, riding through and just standing in.
And spirits were down a bit. At least our spirits. The last race of the series. Awwww.
Well, there is Kruger's and Salem next weekend, then turkey day then PIR, then Nationals in Bend.
Ok, spirits are back up. Let's get down.
Here's looking at muddy you. To see a few more muddy faces, click the image above.
