Weekend in Bend: Quick Note

No gallery just yet...come back Monday. Thanks.

A cloud of dust hung over the city of Bend today in Central Oregon. It was caused by a stampede of cyclocross racers as they hammered the course more known for its tundra-like qualities. Dust. Rocks. Green grass. Sunshine. Not what a racer might remember from the past two years at Nationals. It was epic in a different way.

I'll post a gallery from Saturday...but it will probably be Monday morning. Just enough time between now and then to cough up a dust ball. (See you tomorrow for the Halloween craziness.)
