Kruger's Kermesse photo slideshow

Ok, i know it's not technically cyclocross but i caught the last couple of races today at Kruger's Farm...the final installment of the kermesse series. About halfway through my time there it hit me just what exactly was different about past races I've photographed: I was sweating. Despite the warmer weather and the second dusty day for a lot of the racers (see pain on the peak), the racers managed swift laps around the farm. Just past the finish line, near the beer garden, Don Kruger announced to a few dirty and dazed riders that he'd just brought out another hose. Ahhhh, water.

Wow, this site rules. I love the shots with the water drops and the dirt lifting up in such precise detail... how do you capture that? It's really beautiful.

Hi Kristin. Sharp focus and high shutter speed help grab those details. Thanks.

Nice work. I especially like the 6th picture in the set. (It's my leg).

Really nice work. I can't wait to check your site after each race.
